My Favorite Music

I love Arabic music and it is primarily the only music I listen to.  I live in America and I feel that most American music is bland and boring.  In addition to Arabic music I also listen to some Ethiopian and West African music, especially from Mali and Mauritania.  I listen to all styles of Arabic including Lebanese, Egyptian, and Khaleeji.  What is the best?  My favorite is music from the Khaleeji/Gulf region.  Unofficially, Khaleej countries are Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, and Yemen.  There are many unique elements in this type of music.  It seems to be more authentic than other types of Arabic music and I have fallen in love with the distinctive drums and Khaleeji accent.  This type of music is not as mainstream and its artists are not as famous as some Egyptians and Lebanese but it is becoming more popular.  Many singers from other regions are also performing in the Khaleej style.  Not only is the music great, the dances are cool too.
